Rachel Schumacher of St Petersburg FL Is No More, RIP Agile Delivery Coach

Today, we announce the passing of Rachel Schumacher of Saint Petersburg, Florida. A brilliant mind, a compassionate soul, and a true leader in every sense, Rachel departed this world too soon, leaving behind a powerful legacy of empowerment, mentorship, and innovation.

Rachel Schumacher

Rachel served as a respected Agile Delivery Coach and Director of Agile Education at ClearlyAgile, where she spent over six years transforming organizations and guiding teams toward excellence. Backed by certifications including CSP-SM and PMP, she was widely known for her hands-on, people-first approach to Agile transformation. Her work touched the lives of thousands — not just through the strategies she implemented, but through the confidence she instilled in every individual she coached.

She was driven by a personal mission to help others grow. As Rachel once said:

“My passion for excellence isn’t just something I talk about in meetings — it’s at the heart of everything I do.”
This passion lit up every boardroom, classroom, and Zoom call she entered.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Project Management from AIU, graduating magna cum laude. She held senior leadership roles in both tech and marketing, including at DPS Properties and Prevail Pest Control, where her visionary thinking and operational brilliance helped reshape companies and careers.

But beyond her professional accolades, Rachel was known for something even greater — her heart. She was the kind of person who made you feel seen and heard. The kind of leader who lifted others even when she herself was quietly carrying weight. Her laugh, her resilience, and her unshakable empathy left an imprint that won’t be forgotten.

Friend and colleague Pete Farr shared a heartfelt tribute:

“Rachel lit up every space she walked into. She made people feel seen, heard, and cared for. Her compassion, her strength — they were something rare. I hope she knew how deeply loved she was. Rachel, I hope you’ve finally found peace. You mattered. You always will.”

Rachel’s passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how fragile life can be, and how important it is to check on those who seem the strongest.

She is survived by her loved ones, colleagues, countless friends, and all those she mentored and inspired. Her life’s work will live on through every team she helped build, every individual she empowered, and every space made better by her presence.

Rachel, you gave your all. May you now rest in peace.
You mattered. You always will. 💔
